Deeratna

Deeratna, meaning our home, is a tribute to the enduring marine heritage of the Arabian Gulf. This collection celebrates the deep connection between the region and the sea, honouring the traditions of fishing and pearl diving that once shaped its coastal communities. The collection features handwoven abayas adorned with marine motifs that draw inspiration from the ancient carved petroglyphs of Jassasiya, a historic site in northern Qatar. These abayas pay homage to a rich cultural legacy—one defined by the ebb and flow of the tides and the stories of those who made their livelihood from the sea.
